The Nike Air Zoom Talaria '16 SP is a re-release of the 1997 classic. Designed by the innovative Tinker Hatfield (designer of the Jordan 3-15), we can see iconic potential in this shoe. The all green tennis ball like suede gives this shoe a more niche feel, i.e. these are a great way to be unique in the vast sneaker landscape. Tinker's vision when engineering this shoe was that you could wear them all day everyday. These runners feature cushioning inspired by runners' insights, delivered in the form of a 3/4 length Air Zoom unit. The Zoom Air unit provides impact protection and responsiveness, while forefoot grooves provide enhanced flexibility and promote natural movement. The Talaria has a lightweight mesh and synthetic suede upper to pair breathability with comfort. The lightweight phylon midsole is also aimed at the overall goal of the shoe, being comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. On the outsole waffle traction pads are featured atop a translucent rubber that shows off the Zoom Air unit.
