Comfort is key, and Nike has you covered. Originally released in 2004 the Sock Dart was one of Nike's first shoes to feature a knit upper. This move proved to be quite foreword thinking as knit uppers are now a mainstay in the sneaker market. The sock dart first retro'd 10 years after its initial release in 2014. The rerelease was adorned with a "fragment" colorway. A year later in 2015, Nike began releasing general colorways and on June 2nd, 2016 they will be available to customize on NIKEiD.
The most recent sock dart colorway to release is being called the "Aluminum" but the official colorway is "Dark Grey/Pure Platinum/Aluminum/Black". The knit upper is dark grey and has a heather fleece look to it. Pure platinum highlights the heel caps which have a metallic sheen. The pull tab on the tongue is black but has an iridescent purple glow to it. An aluminum Nike Swoosh accents the black "smoked out" straps. Also featured in black is the heel and sock liner. A white midsole is used to provide contrast from the primarily dark grey and black upper. The outsole has grooves for increased flexibility, studded with grey and black traction pads. Retail price is $140 available at both FICE Denver, FICE Salt Lake City or by phone at 720.638.8882.
