In 1997, Hall of Famer Ray Allen was one of five member selected by Michael Jordan to wear Jumpman in the NBA. Back in 2002, he wore two player exclusive Air Jordan 7s with “Home” and “Away” colorways during his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Commemorating both his career and 2018 Hall of Fame induction, Jordan Brand will be releasing an Air Jordan 7 Ray Allen colorway in 2019 to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of his ’96 draft. Dressed in a Black, Fierce Purple, and Dark Steel Grey color scheme. Unlike his original player exclusive, this pair will combine both Allen’s PEs from his time in Milwaukee into one. It features a Black nubuck upper instead of leather, representing the “Bucks Away” pair with Purple and Grey on the midsole, and Purple Jumpman logo on the ankle atop a Green outsole like the “Bucks Home” version.
