Air Jordan 3 OG "True Blue" / Friday November 25th
The Classic Jordan 3 gets a remastered OG release. The red lining behind the tongue and NIKE AIR branding on the heel tab have sneaker heads across the world clamoring "OG Colorway!" They were released in 1988 while MJ was still on the Bulls. Although the True Blue 3's have gained much notoriety from MJ wearing them during his stint with the Washington Wizards who wore blue and white uniforms, they last released in 2011, and
2001 before that.
The original (1988) True Blue 3's had red lining behind the tongue, while the 2001 and 2011 had blue lining behind the tongue. Fortunately Jordan Brand is bringing back the Red lining behind the tongue, 'Nike' on the outsole, as well as the NIKE AIR heel tab to make this release the closest one to OG (1988) yet. The Blue sock liner and blue midsole really set the shoe off. The beloved Jordan 3 Elephant print is utilized on the heel, amid the lace eyelets, and around the toe box. The bottom eyelets are red while the top and middle eyelets are blue. The predominately grey outsole features a red impact zone under the ball of the foot, and NIKE branding on the outsole underneath the heel.
Available at FICE Denver and FICE Salt Lake City for retail $220 on Friday November 25th while supplies last.
